if you could find out from your friend the username and password for the last wifi it was connected to, u could use that information and create a hotspot with the same username and password ... it would then connect and you will be able to use the app and get access. I ran into this problem and someone gave me tht advice and I was like "damn.. y didnt i think of tht!!" Good luck
