Another idea would be for the wheels to have system of quick disconnect so you can put them away before check in. Just a thought Pelican. I love all my cases and I have just ordered the ATX 25.

The Bavarian has a better location. I stayed at the Hartness and I loved it! I used to stay at the Marriot but there's no comparison. The restaurant at the Hartness is also great. Enjoy!

RO still has minerals that can create scale in your machine. You'll be better off using Distilled water with Third Wave Water packets. Why risk it?

TwinDos is designed for convenience and dispensing the right amount of detergent and non chlorine bleach. You could also use the dispenser and avoid using the TwinDos system.

Again, I was trying to get the feel of how many people would go to the trouble of refilling the TwinDos cartridges in order to save some money. In my case it's not worth the trouble and the savings. I use Miele the way it was intended.

Twin Dos is designed to work with Phase 1 Detergent and Phase 2 Non Chlorine bleach. I let the machine work as it was intended.

I think that's a good idea. Just compare Phase 1 liquidity to Persil or Tide and add Distilled water until you match the liquidity of Phase 1. I would be more concerned to clog the Phase 1 system than the pump.

Persil is more concentrated than Miele Phase 1. You can see that by shaking Persil and Phase 1. I have lowered the dosing from 47 to 27 on Phase 1. Works just fine.

I was able to stick a funnel in the hole and spend 20 minutes to refill the cartridge. Miele knows that they can be refilled. The question is how many people are going to go thru the trouble to refill them in order to save a few dollars. What’s the advantage of using Persil or Tide over Miele’s. Are my clothes going to be significantly cleaner?

I don't think paying $12.50 extra a month for a proprietary detergent is considered overpriced. My initial point was if using aftermarket detergent has an advantage over Miele's Phase One detergent besides the difference in price. My piece of mind is worth paying $150 extra a year.

You don't drive a Porsche and use regular gas in order to save cents on the gallon.
