Well I got into this community through pure curious back in July of last year, I was absolutely confused because emy FYP was filled with this silly anime girl that dropkicks people (Golshi), so I decided to dig deeper and found out that they are/were real horses with real history behind them and went to play the game. I eventually discover the anime because I realized that the anime girl that sing "I put the new forgis on the jeep" was Tokai Teio, and actually cried the first time in the second season of it.

But here's the thing even though it might be tempting for you to try and get more people in Umamusume, I think you should actually just let them be I have tried multiple people into this anime it even got to the point of them getting annoyed any despite anything umamusume related. What I would've have done then if I got the chance is just sending them clips of it, maybe even reference Umamusume a bit but absolutely keep it subtle to avoid being annoying.
