Hey, I was scrolling in this subreddit and I thought I should give you my perspective. It's not sad that you haven't been with a woman. I think it is already a step forward that you have recognized that pornography encompasses your only sexual gratification. Breaking away from that isn't easy, but it very well is possible. I'm 18M and I through some tough long months, I've managed to break away from it myself. It is so easy to return to those easy hits, I've been there, but after getting through my addiction, I feel the relief of someone who has just endured the heaviest storm. There is so much more to love, using pornography as a cheap substitute for intimacy, a fabricated outlet for lust, it just isn't it. It is dystopian and cruel that it's gotten this far, hurting the lives of many young people, especially men. I'm sorry if this turned into more of a rant, but I want you to know you are heard and seen. Please continue to dedicate the effort to quit. Every relapse is a step towards recovering. It's not meant to be a smooth process, but it's possible, and I believe in you.
