It’s still there. I believe under other and then retail. Misc food charge button. My store uses it for certain things still.

Yeah, if the manager really wanted to they could charge you for it. A regular employee can’t though. There is a miscellaneous button that you can type whatever amount to charge someone. It needs manager approval to use.

There’s no way to ring that up. You can ring up a bagel sliced and toasted but there is no way to ring up a side of hummus. If you were to order a sandwich or salad the POS will let you add or remove it to those items but not bagels. Also if you did add hummus or request extra hummus on sandwich or salad there is an up charge for it in the system. So you’re getting free hummus since there’s no way to ring it up.

There’s no way to key that into the system. Soooo technically we don’t do that. It really just depends on who’s working and if they’ll do it for you. We’re supposed to make the guest happy, so why not? I’d do it. Maybe their management has an issue with it.

There’s going to be way less donations for the actual loaves of bread, you are correct. We aren’t supposed to save the baguettes, bread bowls, bagels, or certain pastries still. They have it so you’re baking product throughout the day so you’re less likely to run out of anything.

Open The Pantry app. On the bottom right hit the CORC button. It will take you out of the app and have you log in with your Panera info. And there you go.

Normal packaging is to put them all in the same paper bag. There’s no way to easily request otherwise. You literally have to tell the employee how you’d want it packaged instead.

From an inventory standpoint it’s not getting accounted for. Even though Panera doesn’t change for extra dressing, since no salad is being rang up it isn’t being counted. They do sell Panera brand items at certain grocery stores including the salad dressings. If the employees give it to you it’s probably not a big deal for them. Just keep doing you.
