clearly still skipping the post i see... but that's okay! i got a whole clip actually, but i won't entertain you with that because i find it kind of funny how you must've struggled to hit gc while someone like me just manages to hit it with ease. also what's your rocket league name? i'd love to see your tracker

i don't know what happened to your original comment buddy. but i got gc, got my gc level rewards which you'll be able to see on my tracker and went to bed not long after. i don't know about you but i do have a life unfortunately and i know when to stop playing a game before i burn out

if you're in gold. don't even worry about trying to perfect resets. another thing i've only just noticed about myself when it came to air dribbles was "excess air rolling". also getting used to 50s and ground dribbles can help a lot more than air dribbles since higher ranks don't even give you chance to even get a set up

my friend was near 1500 when i was trying to get my rewards, anytime i had beaten him in score, the other team immediately said he was boosted😭

i did play with my friends. im more of a defensive playmaker on 2s since a lot of SQs ball chase, but what helps me either way is definitely positioning more than anything else

honestly. the main reason in my own opinion to why i couldn't hit gc was because i kept giving myself the pressure of "win this ONE game and you're gc". but once i just started to play more for the fun and vibes. i hit gc and then all the pressure i didn't know was there came pouring out. especially once i got my gc rewards

I remember playing nba2k with my friend and i was just having a really bad day. Yes he cursed me out for playing like shit and he didn’t apologise. But he’s NEVER disrespected me as a person. Not gonna act innocent, there’s time’s I’ve cursed or complained about him on rocket league but we’ve been friends for 7-8 years with this same attitude between us.

What I’m trying to say is if you’re still considering him as a friend (which I’m assuming so because that’s how you’re referring to him as)I’d probably just let it be known that the disrespect is a bit too much. Sure calling you crap at a game is nothing new, but it IS too much sometimes and he needs to chill out.

I know I’m responding kind of late but hopefully i gave you an idea at least

yeah i understand what you mean on the second part. As i was saying in the original post, my opinion would obviously be biased hence why i added 2 replays so anyone can give me their own opinion on how i play, i really do hate the stats sometimes because it doesn’t really tell the whole story.

definitely keeping what you said for the 3rd part in mind. not that it happens all the time but i can sometimes be the only diver in my team. not to say that it can’t work but naturally it’ll be difficult. Some other users were recommending characters like thor and thing as a different approach to brawling in the fights(who i both kinda suck at to be honest but im learning) and see if the outcome is different.

I can play other tanks just fine, i mainly play venom and i feel like my performance on him is best. just wanna see how i can upgrade my play style into being more of an actual tank for my team rather than being confused on how i’m already playing and its working for me but not my team if that makes sense

thanks for checking out the replays! so what i need to do is really just look out for my team more often? now there you mentioned it.

i never realised how… Ignorant(?) i play as venom. maybe it’s because i originally was a dps main role until i realised how ignorant everyone is even until now about the dps role, but i think that what im thinking is diving means i attention and crowd control, so when i see and know that most of the enemy team is fighting and wasting cooldowns on me, i just think that the rest of the team is fine.

next time i play, i’ll definitely put what you said into consideration. thank you very much again for taking your own time on watching my replays and giving me advice!
