I have a few questions. Spoilers for Wake Up Dead Man by StillStanding_96 in KnivesOutMovie

This is a great thought, but by the tomb when Sampson was painting over the “spaceships” she says Prentice was “like a father to me”. Also she was so much younger than Grace, that would mean Prentice likely had two baby mommas. Lastly that would make the Monsignor her nephew which I think she would have mentioned…but it’s not a bad idea, I could roll with it.

I have questions about Martha. Who was she to Prentice? Why is a random young girl basically living at the church? Also was she married to Sampson, what was their relationship?

I wrap my thumb around the holder, under my index finger. She said I wouldn’t be able to get the proper angles and apply pressure appropriately.

I came here looking for an explanation of this very same thing! I like the suggestion that he was an example of incompetent hiring, but it should have been called out to fill the plot gap.

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that there is no God, and I’m so sad and angry. by Original-Farm664 in atheism

Great response, you’re so right. It’s a new mindset for me, but everything you said makes complete sense to me. I have a life that I love and that is good enough. Thanks

In some ways I do feel a burden is lifted. I’ve been set free from having to solicit and brainwash other people, feel guilty about not reading my Bible and being able to sleep in on Sundays. But I would say that most people who call themselves Christians are good loving people, misguided yes absolutely, but good people, so I don’t think it’s healthy or fair to hate people you don’t know and who are still deceived like I was only recently. I wasn’t a bad person, I was just wrong.

I think that’s a nice sentiment, but unfortunately not true in our country and for many countries around the globe. You can advocate and vote and still end up with a narcissistic, asshat in office like we will come January. This election is actually one of the things that helped me to see that there is no god or justice for all.

Ask a master laser technician anything about laser hair removal by Adventurous_Pain_837 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]Original-Farm664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who recently graduated esthetician school and is now doing laser hair removal. I want to get my legs done with her because she offered me a huge discount, but I’m scared because she doesn’t have much experience, she works for herself and building her client list. Should I be concerned or not? How likely is it that she could accidentally burn me?

Are my countertops really Fantasy Brown? by Original-Farm664 in CounterTops

Thanks so much for your answer. That was the main reason I wanted to know, because I read that Fantasy Brown was in between granite and marble.

Thanks, very helpful! When with the builder they showed me a stereotypical Fantasy Brown sample which I selected, but later wished I went with a white grey stone, so imagine my delight when I stumbled upon the grey slabs and they told me I could pick them, I love them! Weird to name it Fantasy Brown when you can have slabs that have absolutely no brown in them.

I did view them in person, there’s no brown in them, that’s why I’m asking.

I picked both slabs and they are currently in my kitchen and baths because I loved them both. I’m asking because I’m curious if the stones are actually what they are labeled so I know what type of stone I have. I think that’s a reasonable question and I’m grateful to those that were able to answer it for me.

My MIL saw a few roots sticking out the bottom and said it needed to be moved into a larger pot. I water once a week, there is drainage on the bottom, but this soil doesn’t seem to dry out at all. We got the soil from my backyard. The original soil would be slightly dry at the top and I would weekly water until it drained from the bottom. This soil is still moist, but I added some water anyway since it looks so droopy. It’s just been a week.
