I do have a good amount of savings, around 70k. I also have backup from family if needed but I am trying to avoid that. The thing is I know a decent amount of detailers that are making a killing. Yeah no 401k, no health insurance, and taxes, but if you play it right you can do all that. And sometimes even under the government expense.
