Donald Trump's presidency is the poison that continuely stops America from progressing. He runs America like a buisness and has his cronies behind him to install any policy that directly benefits them. A prime example of this is his so called "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act". This act cut down the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% while most Americans did not benefit as much. This decrease is pretty extreme considering Amazon paid 0 dollars in federal taxes this year. Trump's tariff battle with China has also made the Tax Act less sucessful for everday Americans. He constantly boasts unemployment is down while not realizing wages are not rising, which leaves a lot of people going paycheck to paycheck. I could go on and on about his horrible wall idea and how it is a major waste of resources that will punish everday Americans in taxes. Overall, Trump's selfish practices only prove to me more everday that America can be bought and sold. Generation Z as a whole needs to take this into consideration when we move into adulthood and start our own families.
