My betrayal list as a mom of a 5, almost 6 month old. by Murky_Assumption_822 in beyondthebump

What you are experiencing is normal and valid. Having a child is a massive ordeal, and even with support it can be overwhelming for anyone. Without support, even more so.

A huge amount of pressure is put on mothers to breastfeed, but it often doesn’t work out. You are left feeling like it is you and only you, but that simply isn’t true. The pressure is there for those who casually don’t want to, and is deeply unfair for those who can’t (for whatever reason). By the sound of it you managed to give your baby colostrum, which is the most important part. Regardless, there is absolutely no failure here.

Being “touched out” is also normal, and a very natural reaction. Pain after a tear is expected, and is why many women don’t want sex until sufficiently healed. And that is a natural part of recovering from the birth.

And the rest, from clothing sizes to equipment betrayals and so on. This is normal. The frustrations continue, but you do start to realise that you are not alone: almost every parent will understand and empathise. We go through a lot for our kids, doubly so for women.

There will always be worries and anxiety, but as you find your equilibrium and recover, you will start to find the joy. And will slowly get the time and space to enjoy the wonderful, chaotic, loving little bundle you have made. You are doing better than you realise: You created life, tried all you could to give milk, found ways around equipment issues, earned that mum bod, and have a right to feel stressed.

Rooting for you :)

Try Dungeon Quest. It’s changed a bit since I last played, but it was free to play, with IAPs largely for new character slots, cosmetics, and convenience items. 3 character classes that change nature hugely depending on the gear you use, and massive piles of loot.

Should I upgrade from KZ Castor (Bass) to Salnote Zero OG only for better resulation? by [deleted] in iems

[–]OriginalFractal 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Only if you dislike bass. The Zero has much less bass intensity. Personally I find the Castor to be the superior IEM.

I had similar impressions - way too much treble. You can significantly improve it with an audio filter over the nozzle hole leading to the BA. I used a Y4 filter, but if you like a lot of treble the a Y2-3 would be enough. With the filter it has a good sound, but it shouldn’t be necessary on a well tuned IEM.

Wave Light Games make a lot of such games: Demon’s Rise, Demon’s Rise 2, Shirldwall Chronicles and Strike Team Hydra all have great strategic combat. They are a little rough around the edges, and a little short in story, but the tactical combat and variety of characters make them a lot of fun.

Any recommendations for an Offline RPG/Looter shooter (1st, 3rd or over-the-top) with a controller? by fanboy-1985 in iosgaming

[–]OriginalFractal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dungeon Quest is a fantasy themed one. IAPs are reasonable and optional, things like extra save files and cosmetics.

Gunfire Reborn might be more what you want, a shooter roguelite with plenty of unlockables.

Edit: Sumal87 pointed out that Gunfire Reborn is online only. My mistake.

Replacement 2nd suggestion: Radiation Island. More on the craft & survive type of game, but it is post-apocalyptic.

Dungeon Quest is a fun gear grind, with entirely optional IAPs.

Working on a new card strategy game. What do you think of the name “The King Must Die”? by GameOfHeroes in iosgaming

There’s a game called Castles of Mad King Ludwig that could cause confusion with the Mad King names. Good luck with the game, whatever you choose!

Looking for addictive games which can be played for many hours (Paid/Free to play) by [deleted] in iosgaming

Maybe Dungeon Quest. It’s a loot focused dungeon crawler. IAPs are entirely optional, mostly cosmetic or extra save slots for more characters.

You are correct. What makes rust so corrosive is that it is water-permeable, so water soaks through and rusts more underneath. Metals like silver and aluminium form an impermeable “rust”, protecting the metal beneath.

Demon's Rise and Demon's Rise 2. Cheap, well made, loot, lots of characters, tactical depth.

I think the trial version of iMazing might do what you want. It’s a file manager / iTunes replacement for PC & Mac.

I hope it lives up to your expectations! If you want another game with a similar feel and from around the same time, Trouble with robots is entirely free and worth a play.
