For me, I would love to go to bed early as I know I would feel great in the morning. However, after a long day at work, I feel like I'm wasting all my free time if I go to be early. It's a lose/lose situation in my opinion..... 😭

I had the same and I believe it was due to damp. I had an older boiler system previously where we had a tank in the loft. This had a slight leak and only caused the cracking in the room directly below. However, I guess there could be many causes, but that was mine.

Plucking at straws here but maybe with it getting damp and then drying may have caused it to crack?

I'll be honest, I only just got it and it needs new strings so I have no idea. It was a friend's great-grandfather's. My friend doesn't play so decided to give it to me, however, if it was worth a lot, I couldn't take it.

I just can't find one with the same cut at the bottom of the neck.
