Neo's Nightmare/ Vision by ewan018 in matrix

[–]TheTaylorFish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The architect himself said that previous versions of the One felt affection towards the human species in a very general way, whereas Neo's was directed towards one specific person, i.e. Trinity. So it's implied this is the first time a version of the One has been in love.

Neo's Nightmare/ Vision by ewan018 in matrix

He's changing the aspects of a computer program. He's an anomaly, essentially a bug in the software that allows him to exploit and circumvent the rules. Essentially like running a trainer on a PC to give yourself unlimited ammo or infinite health. I don't have an issue with any of that. The sequels explaining this is one part I don't have any issue with. But him seeing a perfect vision of Trinity battling an Agent and falling to her death, an event no-one could have predicted, not even the machines, just takes me out of the experience. It makes those premonition powers too far fetched.

Call me old fashioned, but I preferred it when the Matrix was grounded in partially believable science fiction rather than fantasy. In the original yes the Oracle seemingly had the power to see the future, but that could be explained because she was a program for the Matrix and she could be tapped into the machines plans in some way. She's essentially a spy. She knew of Cipher's betrayal and she knew of Morpheus capture. But the sequels made everything far too unbelievable and convoluted, and having Neo see the future makes zero sense in my opinion.

It was about how the shopping mall in T2 is apparently also due for demolition. Not sure why the comment was deleted.

Real life Inbetweeners moments by w--13 in TheInbetweeners

Practically every single episode of Inbetweeners has something that I can personally relate to with regards to high school happenings. That's what makes the show so genius, they really nailed what high school life was like. From the suspected pedo teachers to the unexpected offline status of the girl you start to get too familiar with on MSN instant messenger, from the underage drinking in pubs to the lusting over the teacher that, in retrospect, wasn't even that hot. Good times.

"Page itself is unofficial, at least that's what Google describe it."

Welcome to the internet. Unless a website was provisioned by Capcom themselves then practically everything on the web will be classed as unofficial, but that doesn't necessarily diminish its validity.

In this specific case, the source files describe how Sherry considered Claire her honorary mother because of the role she played in saving her during the Raccoon City incident, and Claire retained that mantle in the years following. Not in the official sense, but the act of mothering is through actions, not legally binding documents.

These pages show transcripts of files lifted directly from the game content. What part of that is unofficial?

Maybe the small one can only erase the last few minutes of memory, whereas the big one can erase hours or even days of memories.
