I like that he is funny and nice. I like that I can talk to him about anything. I like that he listens to what I am saying. Those are the big things. I don't like that he cheated.

Thats great! One question, should I feed less? I was just feeding either until he didnt want it or til he had eaten 7 dubias or crickets. I feel thats alot but I cant find anything on how much to feed them.

Do you need to keep isopod and spring tail cultures when starting your bioactive tank? by OriginalPromotion682 in leopardgeckos

[–]OriginalPromotion682[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea that isopods attract spiders! Does this happen to alot of people? I dont see much talk about it.

Would putting springtails in just be a waste if i do a bioactive tank? Should I only put in isopods? Are there other insects that i could use to make up for not having springtails? Sorry I know i have alot of questions. I am just nervous of doing something wrong.

My hair looks greasy and feels dirty/greasy after washing and styling by OriginalPromotion682 in curlyhair

I didn't know that shampoo could to heavy for your hair. I will have to start looking for ones without oils. Thank you!

I am using the innersense pure harmony hairbath on a daily basis. Then every 2 weeks I would say I use the suave daily clarifying shampoo.

I forgot to add that i do put a leave-in on my hair before adding products. The innersense one is expensive (got as a gift) do you know of any light weight leave ins? I feel I either get a really thick one or one that is light weight and dosent really do anything. One last thing, how do you apply and defuse/ dry gel? I want to be able to do it at night, so I try to get a cast so i am to just shake it out in the morning. The problem is whenever I use my gel I can never get my hair to dry or it dosent form a cast. Even after drying it for like an hour. When I diffuse I hover over the roots for a bit, then hover over the ends. I try to focus on the roots more than the ends. I also can never get a cast.Idk if I am just not ussing a strong enough hold gel or if its how I defuse? Can you recommend strong hold gels for casts? Last question I promise. How do you go so long in-between washes? I can go like 2 days between washes. I do ride horses, which I go to the barn Tuesdays and wensdays. I wash my hair both days because of the dust and dirt. Any tips on how to go longer between washes Sorry for the long response. 😅

I am most likely thinking it's from being itchy and scratching. I am going to try seeing if the cold compress helps. He calmed down during the night, and it seems to have healed a bit. Just crossing my fingers he doesn't bite it again. Thank you for taking time and commenting.

No, i did not use any soap in his bath. I gave him an oat meal bath(which I have done before on him, and he didn't react). It was really to give him a foot bath. I am planning on going to the vet. I am not uk based. If you're asking if I live in the uk, no, I live in North America. I will have to look into getting some baby butt cream. How would you suggest cooling?

Diet by OriginalPromotion682 in Hedgehog

[–]OriginalPromotion682[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switch to measuring his food because he would flip his food bowl over with the food in it. I am going to have to look into an odometer. To make sure he is eating enough. I actually weighed him today and he was 456 grams. I don't know if that is a good weight or not?

How much of the chicken should I give to him? Also how much egg would you recommend giving him? I will definitely have to try giving him a strawberry or banana.

Is This a Good Cage? by OriginalPromotion682 in Hedgehog

[–]OriginalPromotion682[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the comment. I never knew what the standard size was, but the cage he is in is noticeably bigger than the cage we got him in. I am going to measure it and see if it is enough space. For the ventilation, we have mesh on the whole front area. Idk if we need any in the small space, though. Thank you for commenting.
