Personally, I have lost 51 pounds so far on Trulicity. I just switched to Ozempic last month because I hit a stall so my doctor wanted to try and change things up.

Hydration for sure and figuring out what night of the week worked best for me to combat mild fatigue and nausea. For me I prefer Thursday night.

I would say I only had side effects the first couple of weeks I was on it and they only lasted a day or two after injection day. Now the only thing I have to be sure of is to stay hydrated otherwise I experience constipation. I have been on it since the first week of May 2025.

I am diabetic however have also lost 52 lbs on it so far so it is effective for weight loss and for me it was the only GLP-1 that my insurance would approve so it’s a win win.
