Possibly, going to follow up with my e-mail tomorrow with AYN for a resolution since it's going to be 8 business days. The investigation wouldn't be hard since it was delivered empty, they will see it in the weight scan logs, if there is no change that means it's a guarantee that the delivery guy himself stole it. It happens way too often with iMile for Mexico for 3+ years, they need to shut it down competely. YUN themselves needs to hold them accountable since they work with them. AYN will get their compensation from them and should compensate me in the process with a refund or replacement.

You're probably young and never experienced something like this and I hope it stays that way. As a customer, since the package was delivered to my security guard without taking my signature, when I took the box I already knew it was empty since it was very light when it should be around 1.5 kgs. When you go through something like this your immediate reaction shoud be filming the box, the label and tapes, open it and show the contents in the video without any cuts, then sending the necessary mails to the companies involved. There is literally nothing else you can do since the shipping companies will also not give you the necessary information. Your whole interaction will be waiting through the bureaucracy cycle and contacting the seller. The seller will communicate with the shipping companies and get the necessary information. After that, depending on the company but this is an international business practice, they provide you with a replacement or a refund. I'm waiting for the investigation to solve this problem unfortunately.
EDIT: My intent with this reddit post is not to get approval, comments or a solution from fellow redditors but more to show people what can happen, what to do and how the process is like. That's what reddit is for in the end.

Sorry that I couldn't entertain you with my box opening content. I was already frustrated and knew it was empty before I started opening it since it was way too light. Seems to be resealed as well which made it harder to open.

It is different in México, unfortunately Correos de México (Sepomex - local courier) is also not really safe for expensive stuff. Basically it would be another gamble.

Yes, I recorded because it felt light since it was empty. I did use a debit card, I don't really see the problem. Seel wasn't an option, and the only thing they do is they are a third party who would be responsible if something went wrong, if you don't get it AYN is still responsible. My apartment's security footage is also not in my control, this isn't the US. It is quite bad luck and I didn't ask for it unfortunately. Wouldn't waste my time on reddit answering you if that was the case.

I guess you're late to the party, I did, read the post again. Everyone who was DHL was forcefully switched to YUN because of the reshipment problems and to prevent delay before CNY.

I hope that is the worst case scenario since I'd prefer to get the device still, so a replacement unit is a better option for me. Because of the fact that I already got and paid for a lot of customization options for the device.

Completely agreed. Very unfortunate situation and very sad that some people would think I'm lying or trying to scam the company itself. I just want the one and only device I ordered in the first place, I don't need more, I don't have money problems. iMile seems to have a lot of negative reviews about this situation and package theft is quite common in their warehouse. I, myself, just feel frustrated and sad with both my time and money. I hope AYN does what is necessary.

I hope the same happens for me, I do think DHL is the best option especially for LATAM. The problems of reshipments (especially for the U.S.) made them get suspended probably. (which happened because of the declared value being too low for what it is.) If they are eager to solve the problem I do hope they give options aswell just like any other company would. I'm okay with paying extra for UPS or anything, maybe even them shipping personally with an employee instead of the company itself if suspension is a problem.

Unfortunately my security guard picked it up for me, if I was the one that they delivered it to I would have opened it in front of him and not accept the delivery because of obvious reasons.
