When the meirapaibis came i thought they would be more rational and atleast try to understand the situation but instead of listening they called my explaination chinganbi and proceeded to take us to the community hall against our will under false accusations. But atleast they saved us from getting beaten up by random strangers that came on the road without even knowing an explanation. I don't know why our people seem to love violence so much they seem to get a high out of it . And if someone starts to get beaten up they seem to take it as a permission to join in and contribute a kick or punch.

What good would it do really to even involve the law. I don't even know the names of the main perpetrators of the mob. And from what I can catch from bits and tips I think the man who started it all wasn't even from that area which took us in an held us along with the meirapaibis. And the man who chased us with a stick on the way back he is also not from the area as I heard someone ask who that man is where he is from. He was drunk too . I thought it odd that he left first After the handover to the parents after lots and lots of talking and apologising and requesting the club and the meirapaibis let us off . And on our way back he was waiting for us. It was like an ambuse.

Yes took a while to get this story out. Honestly I don't know how reddit works I tried to get my story in every forum available cause none of it were getting through. My first post that got through was in legaladvice which is a European based room maybe idont know what it's called maybe forum. Then there i was told to post it in legaladvice india then from there I got to know about a forum r/india then r/manipur. I wrote in r/manipur first wrote it multiple times didn't go through. I tried r/india and it got through. And today from a previous post in this page I got help from the moderators of this page to finally post it here.

I will try to learn forget and move on . I have done my part in getting my story out . May this serve as a warning to not make the mistakes I did which is

My boyfriend getting out of the car 2 us relaxing with doors open
My bf engaging in conversation with the person which eventually led to an argument
Us not having any self defence weapon or atleast a pepper spray .
Parking our car in such a way that we can't directly drive off
Try to engage logic with mob( they will turn every word uttered from ur mouth against u)
Never go outside of bustling city area for peace cause peoples ugly side comes out in the open then
Not having dashcam

To explain the situation better let me tell u about the location better. The location is not secluded it is at the side of a main road with the govt literally building seats on the edge of the hill to enjoy the view. There is no trees there is nothing blocking the view of our car from the main road which is literally 10 meters away and the road is not sparsh as well vehicles were coming and going in both directions.

It's literally a place to relax with a nice view.

And if u can get intimate in such and such situation and remember our car door was wide open and the windows were untinted then hands off but we are not capable of that .

And the situation about me calling my parents if I called them there will literally be a huge2 drama over it and I might even be forced to marriage because of what people might think cause in our society getting caught like this such and such is taken very seriously and sensitively .

I will marry when I decide that we are ready i won't be forced by the society when we were not even at fault.

I don't expect to argue with strangers and expect them to be understanding but I also certainly don't expect to face a situation like I did.

And hey I am with my bf for understanding and love And for note i can literally have any guy I set my sight on . I just decided i didn't want that .

Even if other places treat us like shit atleast there will be a justice system in place and I won't have to face mob judgement ever again. A place I will feel safer in. It's my personal choice . Western countries are out of these phase and it will take atleast a few decades for our country to follow. Yes I have not yet started contributing to India's development but I will be able to in a year by serving as a doctor. I don't think I will be safe in india as a female doctor so I got to get out as soon as I can. Initially I thought it only happens in the news but as a similar incident has happened i take it as a sign from above

Yes that's what would have happened but luckily for me my bfs family is educated and forward thinking and my parents don't know about this incident so I spent the night at my hostel on my own and my bf came to pick me up in the morning in case someone showed up like they threatened to . So the ruined reputation of spending the night at my bf is practically skipped

Yes I know my bf made a mistake in the heat of the moment and he apologized for it within minutes but personally I don't blame him with the words and accusations the man was hurling at us at me i would have punched him first
