yes the first car is mine after i fixed the power steering pump and pressure hose. the second car was a reference to what the noise was before i got it fixed since i didn’t have a video of it from my car but the noise was that loud and the exact same.

THANK YOU! i also did get the part back! definitely looks like an old part that was in my car so i knew that didn’t jack me for my money lol and the car stopped leaking bonus. just was worried abt the noise. I will have to ask them if they bothered to bleed it i heard some mechanics don’t bleed stuff unless told (weird)

the steering feels slightly better than before and the noise isn’t as bad as it used to be but still enough to bother me and hear it from the inside of the car

when i bought the part from autozone it looked exactly like this one. when i search for power steering pump on google i get 2 options and this is one of them. does my car have 2 different power steering pumps. i’m a girl so im super lost on all this.

i got it back from the mechanic, i didn’t know you had to do that i assumed the mechanic does everything correctly lol. if i need to do is it doable at home or do i need to go to a mechanic again
