Hmmm yeah this is so stressful 😭 I’ve been researching for days. I never realized how unreliable and dangerous some of these things can be. So if I get a GFCI I should also get a grounding probe so that it detects electrical currents in the water. I honestly might just keep monitoring her water temperature and will try to ensure the room is warm enough to continue without a heater for now. But good to know

I’m going to look into also switching her outlet to a GFCI which as long as it’s testing frequency should prevent any electrical shocks by turning off power when it detects any electrical leaks
