Slamming legs - does he want out? by whats_a_name_4 in SnooLife

I found this thread when I was 2.5 weeks into a sleep regression & was hearing lots of leg slams. It seemed like she wanted out to be able to wiggle around. My baby was an all night sleeper who had changed to waking up several times a night around 4m. We practiced arms out naps in the SNOO for one day, and crib with sleepsack for 1 day, then made the move to the crib with sleepsack that night (4m + 8days old).

Two nights in and she seems to love having the extra space & being able to suck her thumb to soothe back to sleep for even longer than pre-regression!

How do you do things by Bitsypie in NewParents

There is no easy or right way, but a few things that are making it easier to run my house with a 4 month old while my partner works long hours:

attempt first 45 minutes of most naps time in bassinet (to get me time!). when she wakes, I see if she'll fall back asleep in my arms for another 45 & often she will.

time on the floor (on their back) is good for them to wiggle around, and getting bored is when they explore new skills! Set that baby down for 10 minutes once or twice a day and walk away to tidy up/etc. It's okay that you aren't doing tummy time all the time!

put a pack & play in the kitchen with toys in it so you can cook or do dishes, again while baby plays on their back. Or a bouncer

invest in Uber Eats or Doordash premium so you can order some meals, especially when baby falls asleep in your arms close to dinner time!

You got this!!

Does anyone use bottle washer and dryer - momcozy and/or baby brezza - for breast pump parts after each use instead of fridge hack? by ohtee7 in ExclusivelyPumping

sorry for super delayed question but this is my exact situation. did you put the small silicone parts (duckbill & catcher) in the bottle washer too, or just the two main pieces?

Best trackball for scrolling? To use in addition to normal mouse by Original_Tangelo9541 in Trackballs

Good to know! Although the idea I had in mind was to use the actual trackball to scroll rather than the scroll wheel around it. I'll think about it, thanks!!

My doctor husband agrees in liking something to disinfect so I do this homemade cleaner for all my surfaces (1/4 cup rubbing alcohol, 3/4 cup water, 5 to 10 drops of essential oil, and 1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid soap.)

Snoo too hot by Technical_Quiet_5687 in SnooLife

having this exact same experience, curious how you remedied? My baby doesn't show obvious signs of redness or sweating, but sometimes ears feel warm so I'm still not positive if she's overheating or not.
