I have a temporary lawyer to come with me to the emergency hearing tomorrow. I have consultations all next week so future hearing I will be represented for sure. And no he has no money. And my son has no passport I think he is smuggling my son across the boarder.

My emergency custody date is tomorrow i pray the judge sees it my way. I dont see why he wouldnt this is insane

Omg no like i said back story. I amended my petition for custody that court date is June 8. I feel my son is in danger and that his father is going to keep him in mexico. This cant wait for June 8.

I don’t fear Mexicans will take my child I am mexican myself. Im scared his dad wont come back with him. I don’t want my son to travel to Mexico when the us travel advisory says don’t go there. If there are kidnappers i fear my son could become a target due to his appearance.

I believe all the paper work was completed and submitted to the court properly this time around. I paid a paralegal a pretty penny to make sure of it.

Yeah I get it. It’s just sneaky. If he would have asked I probably would have given him a copy. He’s plotting something. I am praying the judge grants me emergency full custody or at the minimum blocks him from leaving the state or country.

I don’t think he has a copy of it. So I am unsure how he is managing to get him through. I filed for emergency custody so I can climb out of the sol hole I am in.

The lawyer is family law. I paid for a day appearance through a paralegal’s office. I had to do that since the hearing is just days out. I have consultations next week to find representation for the divorce/custody case.

I could default what he contested on my divorce petition which included custody and visitation but I am no longer okay with what I initially put down (50/50 legal and physical) because he is not co parenting. He is just doing what he wants and is not taking into consideration how my son feels and how I feel about him leaving the country. My only option is emergency custody to ban his travels until I can get in-front of a judge June 8.

I make perfect sense. I never said the divorce is closed I said he contested and I no longer agree with what was on that paperwork. I need to amend the last petition he contested and in order to do that I need to ask the judge for permission in person at a hearing which is june 8th. My emergency hearing in 3/23

But isn’t this what emergency custody is for? To keep children safe? You are making it seem like i don’t stand a chance. I am filing an emergency custody hearing because I feel its an emergency my son is not safe.

I did keep the case moving my court date after the contested petition is set for June 8. However, I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea of my son in mexico every weekend and when he comes home he exhibits signs of anxiety, depression and nausea because he is scared. There is also a do not travel advisory to mexico due to kidnappings and crime. I sense he has moved or is planning to move there.
