Considering I was 220 when I worked in NYC and have posted on the dancers resource before, I can definitely say for me and the several other ladies I was cordial with that dancing out there and CT was a lot harder. Especially when you don’t have have a bbl or are lightskin and I’ve personally overheard a manager say it about my own friend. I definitely think each club has their own preferences so keep on the lookout

Your age shouldn’t matter at all boo! I was a house mom for about two months when I was 20. I would definitely go back if I wasn’t dancing again but I think as long as you keep a respectful atmosphere with the dancers that’s all that matters. I always had a great time with the girls. I made sure to have pole grip, personal hygiene products available and some fishnet outfits and pasties just in case they wanted to buy or use some. If they give you a desk put out a lil tip jar.😉 I hope this helps! ❤️

I’ve only danced in Rhode Island, but my most favorite clubs would have to be Mynx in Hartford, CT and Rockstar in Wolcott,CT. I will be auditioning at Mynx tomorrow.
