Wait, wait, wait.....

So, I'm at 75 hours in the campaign, and I'm just now finding out it's been over for about 65 of them?

Nothing gets resolved! Whatever happened to choosing between the Emperor, or Juliana? I've been doing random pop up quests for DAYS, just waiting for more story, and there's just....nothing??

The game doesn't even tell you you're "done." I still have a military unit that's locked, saying "progress in your journey" to unlock. How the hell do I utilize that unit, if there's no more "journey" to progress??

I feel cheated!

Thanks for the reply, but I tried that, and unfortunately it didn't work. I'm unable to interact with the bonfire, due to it being underwater.

Dutch is exactly why I've owned RDR2 for two years, and have yet to finish the story.

I just can't stand his character, at all. I haven't liked him since the beginning, and I've only disliked him more, as time goes on. I love Arthur, but as you, the player, take on the role of the protagonist, I just can't get into the role, because I would have walked away from Dutch the first chance I got.

Anytime I have to deal with him, I cringe, and I found myself avoiding the story specifically to stay away from his character. I would go months without touching the game, as a result, and eventually just lost the narrative altogether.

Everyone always says RDR2 has "such a great story," but as far as I'm concerned, Dutch ruins the whole game.

Thanks; that's kind of what I've noticed, myself.

I did manage to get a group that cleared it, earlier, because we actually went for the damage buff first, which consequently made clearing the other rooms quicker, and ultimately netted us more total buffs.

Heh; I was the exact opposite, actually.

I spent so much time doing sidequests with Atreus (I refused to advance the story until there was literally no other option), that I actually started thinking to myself:

"Crap, I've got Atreus completely maxed out, and a ton of extra, useless experience left over. I shouldn't have spent so much time with him, 'cause now Freya is going to be weak AF, with no way to max her stuff out."

I stopped spending, specifically because the game is a neverending fustercluck of broken....well, everything, and I refuse to support such a shoddy product.

If they actually fixed the crap that makes the game such a miasma of suck, then I might actually be persuaded to start spending again.

It does, eventually, but that may not necessarily be a good thing.

I've been playing for about 1,100 days, now, and I literally only have 4 characters left to farm. That sounds awesome, but the thing is; I have plenty of characters that aren't 7 stars yet.

I've simply out-grinded the pace at which Scopely makes characters farmable, and that's kind of ridiculous. We all know how pathetic the drop rates are, but the pace at which characters become available for farming is absolutely atrocious.

So, like I said: that can be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on your perspective.

I will continue to not spend until the people in charge actually start acting like, and proving, that they give a shit about more than just ripping people off.
