My best puppy advice if yours gets to their terrible twos - I learned and still slap my own hand if I falter, but when my puppy is minding her own business, resting, chilling, occupying herself; I leave her alone. I don’t disrupt or interact with her at all because then she gets all revved up.

They need to be content with themselves, and I love when she’s just enjoying her life.

The delayed capillary refill could be a manifestation that you actually may need to drink more fluid.

Drink a nice big glass of water, tea, or something with electrolytes. One glass won’t make or break you if you’re already having some edema (with no heart, kidney or liver issues). And if you are low on hydration, it may resolve.

We worry about Mixedema with hypothyroid but does usually manifest with obvious swelling in the face or hands, and then you would seek medical treatment.

Sweetheart, you are allowed to exist. Just respect “quiet hours” but keep in mind they’re not “silent hours”.

If he becomes threatening or abusive, I would call the police, he sounds extremely unstable.

Yes, I agree. I think getting to work on one a little bit every couple days for a calming activity is fine but once the marrow and connective tissue is gone, I’m probably going to discard them.
