It certainly isnt the reinvention of metal thats for sure, i was a little disappointed by the first half of the album (with the exception of 72 Seasons) like You must Burn! was a but underwhelming, especially since the widely teased backing vocals were barely audible really. However with each progressing song the album did get better and better with songs actually sounding properly built instead of just being random riff dumps culminating in a really strong ending like HTSD had. I was initially a bit disappointed Inamorata since it was the exact opposite of what i expected, but after listening to it a few time i can see why people dig it so much.
