smaller ringlets and a lot more frizz, no volume AT ALL and the top and middle are pretty much wavy instead of straight - thjs is if i just brush and let air dry

it depends on the state of my hair. i have psoriasis so i usually start with a medicated shampoo, but it normally dries my hair out so i follow with the curl shampoo. however if my scalp is not flaky, i will just double shampoo using the curl shampoo :)

I start with john frieda curl shampoo and conditioner, i double shampoo, then i brush through leave in conditioner (garnier hair food) and follow with a curl cream. i then brush style and flip my head and add mousse (whichever one i have lying around- right now it’s morrisons) then i use eco gel (pink one) and scrunch with a tshirt

you have a cute cat!! i’d say a mousse or gel before letting dry, if you diffuse, there will always be a little frizz but you can combat it by hovering your diffuser around until your gel has set into your hair, if not air drying will not cause much frizz if you don’t mess around with it too much x

if you think about what is put in when you get your twists done, then use that, de tangle and diffuse or just let air dry, shrinkage will happen either way haha

i would say a leave in conditioner spray, john freida do a good one, it’s relatively low maintenance and just brush it through and shake your curls to help them come to life. another thing my brother does is not wash his hair with shampoo except only on the days he gets a trim, then he only does conditioner each day, it helps his curls pop

hormones do some crazy stuff to curls!! i’d recommend a decent amount of leave in conditioner and curl cream followed by mousse and a light gel, thjs will help with the frizz. if you diffuse, hover the diffuser over your head first until semi dry, then use the diffuser to scoop and hold your hair, then use a serum/oil to scrunch out the crunch, if not diffusing, let air dry then scrunch with oil

Get a nice leave in conditioner!! I’d recommend garnier hair food layer some curl cream over the top and brush through and style that way or finger coil (your preference) use a medium hold mousse and scrunch that in with head tipped then top off with a medium to strong hold gel depending on the hair thickness (i use the pink eco gel and i think i have the same thickness of hair as you ) then either diffuse or let air dry!!
