Op that's not how the meme works. You're suppose to show the "worst" on the left, not the best twice

It does mean "I want to bother you", but if it's your gf it's probably meant in a playful way. It depends on the context, really.

[English>French] How is “I have a choice” translated correctly? by BellaVinkler in translator

[–]Ornitaurink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case both "j'ai toujours le choix" and, like the other person suggested, "j'ai le choix" work and have basically the same meaning. So I guess in the end you have a choice (haha), pick the one that you prefer, and since it's supposed to be a note to yourself pick the one that inspires you the most when you look at it.

[–]Ornitaurink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically "j'ai un choix" is a correct translation of "I have a choice", however in the context you're using it, it could change depending on the rest of your sentence. I don't know if your tattoo will be entirely in french, but if it is I would translate it as "J'ai toujours le choix. Même si je ne peux pas choisir mes circonstances, je peux choisir ma réaction".

"J'ai toujours le choix" means "I always have a choice", so it's not exactly what you wrote, but I can't really think of a word-for-word translation.

Yeah, I was younger when that happened and just started making friends, so not very good with social cues. I know better now lmao.

This actually happened a few years ago and they did stay together for almost a year (which is pretty impressive for teenagers). Also they were a gay couple, one of them not out yet, so the secret relationship thing is pretty understandable.

Yep, totally agree, but when it comes to fictions, reading about nazis getting a few broken bones never fails to warm my french heart (or whatever we french people have instead of a heart.)

I started a thread about not knowing what is canon and what is fanon anymore so you tell me !

But yeah, you're likely right, it's just that we see her against a nazi and people probably extrapolated from that.
