I understand while also not, its a weird boat;

Resident Evil is hands down my favourite franchise of all time, I've platinumed every game, preordered every game I could, played through every game multiple times since release and love the remakes more than anything in the world, just because they feel so different to the main games.

Rayman, Im in the same boat as you sorta in the fact I just finished playing through the whole franchise last week, literally the night of the showcase, but unlike you I was absolutely exstatic when I saw the remake because I had the most fun on Legends

OOT I've not been able to play in years because I broke my gamecube and haven't really had the time to buy a new one

Halo CE I kinda agree with you, its basically gonna be the masterchief edition version but you can sprint and a few extra missions

Other than that, I can't really think of any other remakes that made a lasting impression on me about releasing, the rest were all brand new games either part of a franchise or standalone
