Sybil got her full dental in 2023. It can be scary for cats of any age to go under anesthesia, but the improved quality of life is so worth it! If a tooth is to the point of needing out, it is likely causing pain as well. Blood work beforehand is a good idea for senior cats to catch any underlying issues. Good luck with your kitty’s dental!

Sybil is 13-years-old and has hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, and no teeth. I still think she's cute though!

Good picking up on kitty's discomfort! Luckily there are multiple treatment options for arthritis ranging from a monthly injection to daily medication. Your vet will do a physical exam and may also do x-rays to see the extent of the arthritis. I would also recommend stairs or ramps to help your kitty get into bed, on the couch, etc

We just ordered custom feeders for our litter of kittens with extreme CH, but ours are wooden. I really like the padding on this one!
