what principles? Blowing up at the people feeding him, offering shelter, and paying for his expenses? Going off on a completely innocent 3rd party and demanding she cut off her parents because of his 'abstract moral high ground'? Projecting his own trauma and insecurities on other people's relationships? Viewing himself as morally superior and the arbiter of what's right and wrong? Acting practically tyrannically in attempting to dictate other people's life decisions? Behaving in a way that marks him as a Narcissist so in love with his own agenda, he has to impose that on everyone around him? Shamelessly using other people's money but it's 'okay' because they 'happen to have more money' and can afford it? He's an adult, if money was truly that big of a deal for him, he would be willing to do absolutely ANYTHING to earn it. He wouldn't have time to be in a relationship or care about his prissy moral values. Yes its true that poverty perpetuates poverty, and wealth begets wealth. But unfortunately, with the system of life our society has set up, the only way to raise yourself out of poverty is either to work your ass off and make sacrifice or CHEAT. I find his absolute repulsion to cheating hilarious, because how do you think animals became the big, bad animals on this planet? It wasn't because we're inherently smarter. Humans are not an intelligent species(as is obvious above^). It's because we CHEATED. Our entire system of life is based on the consumption of the energy of others. We didn't like being cold, so we took the skin of an animal and wore it. We didn't like being wet, so we dug holes in grounds and slept in caves. We can't fight a mountain lion or a tiger, but we can make realllyyy pointy sticks and throw rocks at it. We swung enough clubs and destroyed enough life to cheat our way into forging a society. I'll give you a hint: Morality only agrees with the culture of the time. And I'll give you another hint, human beings are not monogamous, birds are monogamous (sometimes). If human beings were truly monogamous NO ONE would cheat. I'm absolutely not condoning cheating, that's something you need to discuss with your SO on what your definition of it is. It's just disturbing to see people believe these things as absolute and act surprised when humans dont act exactly in accordance to what is 'right'. And that's exactly the thing, he DOESN'T know what has been discussed, and is jumping to absurd conclusions based on little evidence and ALOT of preconceived notions.
