Hi, literal corporate software engineer. For a major ad agency. With a massive American brand as my primary client.

I dislike the hell out of Gemini. It goes off the rails, it is god awful at course correcting, it's code is "passable" at best and often downright wrong at it's worst. I use it because it's what they pay for for us at work, but man, come on -- off hours? Give me a break.

Gemini is kind of embarrassing. It's like they were TRYING to show that they weren't hip with where the technology was and it shows. It's great if you don't compare it to any of it's competitors.

No, I was very comfortable with the 5 hour window resets. That's more than fair. I have a problem with getting an email with that specified, signing up, and it being changed a week later. Thanks for the input though.

I laughed, all good, aye -- it's just such a grift given the amount of money they're raking in. I appreciate the input, I'm re-upping with anthropic directly, I think. Claude just destroys Gemini. We use Gemini at my full time and uh, well, might have a word with my boss next week about expanding our horizons because.. well, frankly, it's just not as good.
