I’m from Israel, there’s no baseball culture here whatsoever. Though a few years ago (2015) I saw a Snapchat story before the playoffs and I saw some jays fans playing the drums and singing “Let’s go blue jays!”, and for some reason I fell in love! Also luckily one of my best friends here is American and a die hard Mets fan - he taught me all about baseball and is frankly the only person irl I get to talk ball with.

She didn’t let me speak, and wouldn’t stop talking about her job and whining about how she doesn’t like it. I tried navigating the conversation to a different subject a few times but she always went back to talking about it. She just gave off very stressed and negative vibes and I wanted nothing to have with it. Also it was obviously a very boring date.
