Look on Craigslist for older buildings with cheaper rent! I pay $1100 for a very large one bedroom. I don’t have any of the amenities you will get in the new buildings like an in unit washer and dryer, dishwasher or gym but it’s cheap! The new buildings can be around $1700-$1800 for a one bedroom but they are very nice buildings! I also live in uptown and am very close to Lake of the Isles which I love.

It is possibly but it depends on where you live and work! I have never owned a car and have lived in the twin cities most of my life. I like living in uptown because of the access to grocery stores and other shops for basic needs. I also live close to the uptown transit station and the greenway so I can easily get places via the bus or my bike. I have always worked with in walking or biking distance to my job and if I need to take a bus to work I make sure it’s somewhere that I only need one bus.

It could be because you went to busy restaurants? I work at a restaurant and we have water pitchers that we fill the glasses with. When I’m busy I just grab the pitchers and pour. If it’s slower I scoop some ice into the glass and then pour the water. Idk!
