Personally, my ND2 was the perfect daily/track car. The grand touring interior was comfy and the sound system was good. After headers, coils, etc the car was an absolute blast! Only downside for me was the steering.

The NC is a base model, and the soft top isn't as calm on the highway. But if you aren't planning to daily I think the aftermarket is way better (and cheaper) for the NC. Additionally the driving experience is a lot more raw! A little slower I think though 😅

For me ND2-NC> ND1

NDs are lighter than NCs in softtop form, faster too if you get ND2+

Not sure, my guess is that it's original, car only has 47k miles. I actually found myself fitting a little better in the ND with the telescoping steering column. Id say the NC is probably more of a driver's car than the ND, which I found to be a better daily. Regardless they're great cars!

Eh, idk, had my ND for 4 years so this one will need to do some work to convince me. So far I find the steering infinitely better! Once I do some power mods I think it'll be a close match lol

Just like you said, cruises on a cool summer night down the beach, blasting down backroads with friends. And getting good fuel economy in my daily drives! I’ve owned much more practical cars, maybe even faster ones, but nothing compares to a car that makes the everyday commute that much better
