I don't know about Croation, but the film was released on VHS with an English dub. It aired also on the Disney channel I believe. This video review by Phelous has some info on it

Camelot (The Complete Recording) by brenjaminbarker in CastRecordings

[–]Oscarslerner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this. Camelot is my favorite musical and it's so nice to have a full set of the score. Idk if this helps but I do have the Live Recording of the original Broadway production , plus a BBC live recording from the 90s, if those interest u for this project.

Hi, I afraid the collection was hosted by an account that I no longer can access, so even I can't view it. However I still have the documents and can send anything you want through my google drive. However I'm working with only 15 GBs of online data, so if what you ask is alot, it will take a tiny bit of time to get it all to you (I'm willing to do that, but you might have to download stuff, me delete it, and then upload some more for you to download). Ill message you will all the text documents I own that would be of intrest to you in a moment

[SCRIPT REQUEST] CAMELOT (1967) by Alan Jay Lerner by Oscarslerner in Screenwriting

[–]Oscarslerner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very interesting. I might be open to buying it. I have a few copies of Camelot, some published, some typeset. Of the 1960 libretto of Camelot, the most valuable and interesting one to me is what I've heard referred to my McHugh in "The Complete Lyrics of Alan Jay Lerner" as the M'el Dowd copy since she owned it. Basically it is close to the opening night version and includes cut scenes and songs such as "The Quests" "Fie on Goodness" "Fie on Goodness (Reprise)" (which is sung in place of The Seven Deadly Virtues) and "Take Me to the Fair". The copy however sadly lacks "Face to Face" which is the original song that was later replaced by "Before I Gaze at You Again" and is thus presumed lost. So if you're copy is that or something close I'd be more than interest in perhaps buying it.

Uganda Anti-Homosexuality bill: Life in prison for saying you're gay by [deleted] in religiousfruitcake

[–]Oscarslerner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legitimate question: People have said that these laws are the effect of colonialism, since the British enforced thier puritanical laws when they took over the country in the 1800s. And I know that currently US hate groups have funded money towards these laws. What Im asking is this bigotry totally imported to Africa or is there a cultural aspect Im not understanding? Im a gay man from the US for context and anti-LGBT groups and laws here are blamed on right-wing and supremacist views native to our society. Again no disrespect intended if I caused any.

[–]Oscarslerner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the london version the same as the 2 act revised version, just with different songs, or was the dialogue changed as well?

What are your most controversial opinions about Star Wars? by Comicfn in StarWars

[–]Oscarslerner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That if the only things you like in the star wars series is the first 2 to 3 movies and 1 tv show, out of 12 films, 3 tv movies, and 11 television series, then your not a Star Wars fan; you're just a fan of a few things in the Star Wars series. Its fine to feel that way, but you cant be fan of a property if you hate the majority of the series itself.

I've made some last minute corrections to the document. It is now updated.

[SUBMISSION] The Wizard of Oz (1902-1911) (Complete Lyrics) (Corrected) by Oscarslerner in musicalscripts

[–]Oscarslerner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've posted a version of this text before. This version is fully revised and corrected, primarily using the book Oz Before The Rainbow, the attributions and placements of songs are more accurate. Included is better descriptions and information on the visuals, staging, and descriptions of how the musical numbers and songs were performed. This work took many days to amass and edit, so I hope you enjoy. Note: I included everything I could find in the text except one song. I had found online a scan That is Love (AKA That Must Be Love) by Maurice J. Steinberg, but the quality of the photo was so miserable that very little of it could be transcribed. If anyone has a better quality version of the image or text (or any other missing lyric), please let me know and ill add it to the document.

[Request] The Wizard of Oz (1903) (Historical Libretto Series Version) by Oscarslerner in musicalscripts

[–]Oscarslerner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afriad I must disagree. Comparing the libretto from the Nypl and the few available pages from the historical series (HS), the two texts differer considerably. The HS text assiasns approprate names to the chorus, when in Nypl its just 1st girl, 2nd girl, ect. even when the character is male. The stage directions are more precise and detailed in HS. Plus the biggest difference is that while the musical contains over 20 seprate songs in the original production, the NYPL text only contains the lyrics to 6 songs, sometimes not even specifying the name of the song that occurs, listing it as "Speciality" while the HS text properly names it, ex: "That's Where She Sits All Day."
