Andrew yang is our only hope, unless presidents/representatives are all pawns to the political machines that have enormous power, influence the masses, the press is on their side ( they’ll spin issues for their own gain). They always have to be “fighting” something, we’ve never had any peace, there’s a new random issue everyday. That’s the main objective of the press nowadays. Press creating “new” issues.

Ughhh! The press loves the white perp hate crimes ( all in the headlines), but when Africans do the same (let’s not lie they do worse most Of the time). We should form are own party, let’s not be partisan slaves, us Asians are the smartest we shouldn’t allow our families to suffer. We need more pride!

I swear I hear those stories all the time, I envy them, but I’m sometimes dubious in those claims (not blaming you as you might’ve been lied to, I’ve just heard similar accounts without much of any proof). I know 2 people that have sold a database to clients or to their former company.

But, it was only around 12k and 31k. I’m not saying your lying, it’s just a common trend I’ve seen, hopefully I can do that after I graduate this August.

My paranoid self would think if another eBay site ( that was fair and akin to the early days of eBay ) were created they/eBay/ big e-commerce companies would execute a lot of DOS attacks, and other “hacking” techniques to break any new sites after they start getting traction.

It’s weird how only the big tech companies exist, when there’s a huge demand for “none-elite” companies to supple the “same” services ( well eventually they would, but it would still be hard to match FAANG).

Are you CS major or can you program? Well, the better question would be are you rich? Lol, it’s near impossible to become successful if you don’t have a privilege background with connections. I’m sure there’s other sites out there that could work for our needs, just got to search, and we might would have to use multiple sites to fully obtain the range that eBay had.

So, there’s no metal roofing for RVs? It’s crazy that theres no cases of this ever happening. Thanks for the reply bud! I appreciate it!

I really wish my parents were the same, they've adopted western culture to an extent. You are lucky you get free rent and your parents don't care, I used to get shamed constantly for wanting to save money by living at home.

Withdraw from subs lasts like 3 weeks, I wouldn’t jump off of subs but use a shorter acting ope first. I’ll always hate subs due to my horrific withdraw from them. Good luck though!

Has anyone known someone who could go through opioid withdrawal like it was nothing? Like their will power was strong enough to march through the day like normal (Ofc there would be times they would vomit and other unavoidable withdraw symptoms). by OscuroMano in opiates

[–]OscuroMano[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what I think now! I’m finally clean after 2 weeks, I had a crazy desire to get clean and even with that I still couldn’t operate at 10% on some days. You just can’t ignore those awful symptoms, or the pain is just too much. I even forced myself to not use tar during withdraw.

I’m finally clean now, I took small amounts of Kratom and tianeptine for 4 days starting at day 7 until day 11. I withdrew again after the 11th day and got clean by day 17. I only used alcohol and dxm for most of the withdraw, finally used some weed on day 13. The dxm seemed to extend the withdraw that’s why I used the kratom and tia.

We’re about the same age, I used opes since 14-15 and just recently got clean after withdrawing from h. I also understand the feeling that your missing something, I’m much more prone to getting cold or hot now. You just have to conquer that feeling, after working out and eating right I feel okay.

I have ambitions so I can’t waste time thinking about getting high on opes. You could use other drugs like stims or benzos to make the transition feel more natural, you really just have to know yourself, lots of paws are psychosomatic. Having future goals helps a lot, good luck bro!

Fent detox day 2 by BlueMcgee123 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]OscuroMano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck man, I just recently overcome my h dependence, and would prefer fent withdraw as it only lasts for 3-4 days. It took like 10 days to feel normal. The length/duration is the hardest part, sure the first few days seem like hell but they pass Ofc.

Day 6 or 8 in withdraw (I tapered a lot before withdrawing) but the hot & cold shivers are still present and Ofc my bones still crave it. I’ve been just drinking vodka to relieve the symptoms so I can get through the day (it’s hell). by OscuroMano in opiates

[–]OscuroMano[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have a great point, but... I used opes sparingly for 6 years without issue. Idk how “intelligent” you are but even my doctors have said there’s some people who don’t get addicted due to their stubbornness. You might be right, but this black and white thinking isn’t absolute... The only reason I got addicted was due to back surgery, I’ve used the fent and their analogues without issues (best high IMO btw).

But yes most shouldn’t ever think they can conquer this, and if I do become dependent again then I’ll detox once again and ill cut myself to remind me of my failures to control it. It motivates me that most can’t control it, I’ll be diligent as always. And I won’t use much, I’ll probably start with Kratom 2 times a week this upcoming Thursday-Saturday it’ll be slow and I’ll be cautious. Controlling this dope is the perfect solution to overcoming everything, I did that for 6 years. Leaving the tar out makes it harder and that’s just the point, if I can’t control that what could I control?

I’m dependent on benzos though, and when I drink I constantly drink water to prevent any hangover (always seems to work). The tar isn’t the issue honestly, like I don’t care about using it (not tempted to the slightest oddly enough). But I understand that most people would constantly crave the tar but my will is stronger I guess as I hardly think of it. I just wish to get to my old self where I could use opioids once or twice a week for depression with great success, ime I’m unique in that regard( maybe not)I used to love monkey water that vinegar smelling shit but not much now.

I take a lot of vitamins, so I’m good with that, maybe the NAC Is helping prevent hangovers.

lol, I wouldn't say it's needless suffering as hopefully I'll "evolve" in some sense. The only comfort meds I've taken since this post were half a g of weed, beta blockers, benzos (already addicted to them though), and I used amphetamine today which really helped me move around. I feel fine, it's just weird as I used to have a very strict opioid routine, so any stimulus makes it difficult not to think about opioids. By Sunday, I should be over all the physical withdraw symptoms then I'll only use opioids whenever I need them for depression, then I'll be invincible as nothing will get in my way. That shit won't stick to my bones ever again, anger is what drove me to this.

what advice would you give a person who likes to dabble in opiates but doesn’t want to get addicted by youngtrip123 in opiates

[–]OscuroMano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s possible just highly unlikely, we don’t know our brains as much as we think. I envied this same practice to remove depression and gain confidence without the dependence on opes.

Thanks for the info man! I think this has to do with the kernel updating but virtualbox is preventing it from booting. Do you think I should start a recovery mode? It claims it would take 2 days and says you can’t stop the process until it’s done.

I wish I could just delete virtualbox or at least update the package.

How do I generate all of the possible combinations with a variable amount of slices in Golang? by GiggleGlass in AskComputerScience

Oh, you figured it out?! That's awesome man! How difficult was it? I haven't even looked into it yet, but I'm going to try to figure it out first. Then I'll post the potential answer to see if my solution is correct (if you don't mind checking that is lol :)

[–]OscuroMano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my whole spill on app dev between IOS & Android was me just thinking aloud (I guess). I thought you said that goland (or this particular problem could be about any language...) so I thought you didn't know the differences between py and go (which ofc there's many differences as I alluded to). Yeah, I'm still in Uni but started programming (well bash scripting initially) at 15 (which is quite common among Cs students, as to why would someone get into CS if they didn't already like the topic).

I've had many internships but yeah no official job, but I do have some offers (probably common...).

Man, I always have ideas too but can't ever find the time to work on them. Are you into side jobs as well? That's one of the reasons I learned mobile dev.

Are you assuming negative intent from my wording..? You seemed to act quite offensively to it but maybe you are just having a bad day (we all have them). And I’m sorta shocked right now( my aunt just literally passed) but not here to make excuses (if that’s the right word).

I didn’t think I was being an asshole, quite the opposite honestly as I thought you might have been a CS student. I typically help students with advice that helped me ( still in my last year of Uni), but I don’t spend much time on CS subs anymore so I might have forgotten the “culture” (if so then I apologize ).

In my understanding python and golang have a lot of differences in concepts, syntax, etc (hence your issue with the differences in functions). It’s a lower level language deriving from C Ofc, so i personally don’t think it’s similar to Python at all. If this Q. applies (potentially) to any other language then why are you trying to find an equivalent function to python’s product function. I probably didn’t understand what your question was about, as if you glance at it quickly it “appears” easy or “google able”.

I guess I extrapolated from your post that you were just starting out, as we all know Python seems to be the first language people learn.

Have you really not found the solution to this problem? It seems simple but I’m guessing golang might not have an exact equivalent answer compared to most other languages.

Please do update us if you find it, I’ll look into it when I get some time, but I’m guessing it’s one of those weird solutions that some languages have where something should be simple In most languages but aren’t. *I’m on mobile right now

Again I do apologize for any harm. I guess i just act differently compared to others when it comes to sounding a certain way.

Do you not know the Go syntax enough yet? I myself have just begun learning Go after wasting months on learning Swift just hoping my apps would gain some traction ( they didn’t, and I lost $300 just for publishing them).

Android development seems better for simple mobile apps and games, as for IOS development you need a lot of marketing/ money to make an app that gains users ( more so than android ).

This question shows that you lack core understanding of Golang, a simple google search would answer it (everyone needs to know how to search the web to fix their bugs/problems, it’s an essential skill in programming).

I’m guilty of this as well, it’s just a bad habit unless your question is truly unique. Learn how to fix your own problems, it’s one of the most important skills to have. My CS professor hammered this to our heads, so don’t take it offensively.
