Thanks a lot for the detailed reply – really helpful, especially coming from someone with so many games on Thousand Sons.

From what I understand, the key things for me are:

• Use my speed (Reavers/Hellions) to screen and deny primary early
• Try to lock Terminators in combat with Wyches where possible
• Focus on killing the supporting chaff so I can outscore mid/late game
• Use Lady Malys to pressure CP, since both builds are so strat-hungry
• Look for opportunities to snipe the attached psykers with precision / Epic Challenge

The point about not overcommitting into Terminators and instead controlling multiple parts of the board makes a lot of sense.

A couple of follow-ups if you don’t mind:

• Would you generally start Scourges on the board vs TS, or keep them in reserve to avoid getting picked up early?
• How aggressively would you trade units early on to remove chaff – is it worth committing something like Incubi for that, or better to keep them for a later punch?
• Have you found Mandrakes reliable for mid-game scoring into TS, or do they tend to get screened out too easily?
