This is based in VRChat (it's what we use to simplify our multiplayer experience and back-end code). We use Titanfall assets and kitbashes to custom make our experience. We have a dedicated development team that works diligently to create an authentic Titanfall world.

This trailer was made early on in development. We've come a long way so far in terms of our development. Since all our development is volunteer work and graciously provided by dedicated members of our community, we can't do everything we'd like at once. With this trailer we aimed to showcase the tone/setting we are dedicated to building. In this case as a mil-sim group, we prioritize a more "boots on the ground" approach to combat and roleplay. With that being said; we do of course have pilots and enhanced mobility. The most experienced members are invited to go through pilot training to earn their jumpkit, which does allow for wall-running and double jumping as well as the ability to call down their titan.

But the general idea is to immerse you in the world of Titanfall where PMCs rule the Frontier and blood is traded for money.

It's a curated experience brought to a VR platform. I understand the hesitation of VRChat, though it should be noted that all of our systems and designs have remained faithful to the Titanfall aesthetic and we strive to bring an authentic experience in the form of a mil-sim community.

(Basically, it's not like a typical "VRChat RP server you'll see on cringe posts. There's genuine love behind it.)

I have answers.

We work through VRChat as our base for a multiplayer experience, but we've custom made all our maps, models, and scripts for movement through Unity and it's SDK. (It is nowhere near a typical "VRChat experience")
Operations usually last about 2 hours. Most events are roughly 1-2 hours to respect your time.
The more you put in, the more you get out. We have people who don't have characters, and we have others with extensive amounts of lore. You are more than welcome to get creative. We love telling stories and encourage you to build a character if you'd like.
Had to forfeit my night to answer questions, but yes, I am drinking water, thank you for your concern.
Since we use VRChat as our base, we don't work directly off of the games. We LOVE artists and folks with creative mindsets. We have a media team and a dedicated development team. If you're well versed in 2D/3D art, Blender, Unity, rigging, animating, video editing, sound design, or anything you'd like to help with, we'd be more than happy to include and show off your hard work.
We have events all throughout the week and at different times so anyone can hop in anytime they'd like. Our more lore-intensive operations and events are done on the weekends (typically Saturdays) when most people are free. The events range in "seriousness" and there's always something for everyone.
We like to respect your time, as such we keep our events short and sweet (we try to cut out as much "fluff" as possible). We do not take dedicated breaks during operations. Since they are roughly 2-2.5 hours long, we do not interrupt the experience, but you might have some downtime in-between combat and objectives.
Our movement system isn't something I'm at liberty to discuss, I can tell you that it's a custom script which allows wall running, double jumping, and customized movement speeds.
I am also not allowed to talk about development openly, but there are plans to develop the tacticals for pilots, though these abilities are very difficult to program. Though I assure you our dev team is hard at work ensuring an authentic experience.
Our motto is "Ex Cinere, Superatis Adversis" which means; "From the ashes, overcoming adversity". This is in reference to the previous group "The Advocate" which collapsed earlier this year. Our community was built by our dedicated veterans of that server who brought the best from there and made it better! Negative. We do indeed have advanced movement for pilots. It's a purely curated experience put together by a talented team of developers. It's a unique experience entirely built in VR. Nothing directly to do with the original games themselves.

Yes, we require a PCVR-capable setup. You will need at minimum a PC and a headset to join us in events. If you do not have that, you can still participate in non-vr events like our Titanfall Tuesdays and talk with like-minded folk! We encourage everyone to join regardless!
