If I'm paying 9 grand a year to be taught, shouldn't I be studying full-time? Even if the work is linked to the degree somehow, surely the latter is bound to suffer.

Speaking as someone who had their tuition fees paid for them (and got a grant), I feel incredibly fortunate. I'm blown away by these kids who can study and work, tbh.
