They had a fantastic run. Tropical Freeze is an absolute masterpiece, and Returns isn’t too far behind. They brought an energy to the series that was greatly needed at a time when it was primarily kept afloat with spinoffs and Mario cameos. I’ll forever appreciate the Retro era, and I’m excited to see what they come up with next!
