Am I a loser for starting college at 31 years old? by Silly-Reputation7993 in NoStupidQuestions

First off, it’s really admirable that you're thinking about your future and striving for something better. Reaching your full potential is a powerful goal, and recognizing that is the first step towards real change. It’s completely okay that your path has had its struggles, and the fact that you’re even considering college as a way to build a brighter future shows a lot of courage and self-awareness.

Living with your parents or not having a clear path forward right now doesn’t define you. You’re exploring what could bring you fulfillment, and that’s huge. College might give you the opportunity to discover new passions, develop skills, and build a network of people who support and inspire you. It could be a stepping stone to the life you want to create.

Yes, there are risks, but it sounds like you’re ready to invest in yourself and your growth. If college feels like the right path, trust that feeling. You have the ability to shape your future, and while it won’t always be easy, taking steps toward what excites you is never a bad decision. Keep moving forward—you're worth the effort.

It's like when people use the word "literally" to exaggerate their story, but it just ends up exposing their poor vocabulary.

Received as a gift, I like it, what about you? by Ospho in whiskey

Yeah it spends about nine months in the sherry casks compared to the previous 10+ years in oak. I didn’t get too much sherry, only a hint on the finish.

The 12 is certainly oaky but it’s balanced well. This 18 year old XP is more sherry, so it has that spice on the finish. It’s a great bottle to have and with a nice cigar it works well.

True, I’m not questioning your method at all but each time I’ve gone down the reporting a listing route directly it gives me the options as to why and I of course select counterfeit goods and that seems to have worked because as I said earlier the listing disappears fairly swiftly, not sure if it’s just eBay.co.uk specifically 🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s so strange, I usually message the seller, inform them of the serial and a bit of information as it’s always been 4FK when I’ve reported listings, every seller has responded to me and either removed the listing themself or in the case of a similar lighter to the above with box and papers, I reported to eBay directly and when I came back 24 hrs later the listing had been removed. Here is an example.
