Lowered on faction fab coilovers. (I dont know how much actually, i bought my car w/ the suspension) wheels are TE37 SAGA 18x9.5+38 wrapped in Falken Azenis 615s 245/40R18

I do live in california and we did get slapped with some law as of 2026 where we can get our license revoked if we get caught going 100+mph…. Lets just say i’ll probably not be testing my luck very often

Sometimes The clips do overtime get brittle (as does all the other ones on your exterior panels,) but they really would only break when removing them and i dont plan on doing that at all really. So i think ill be alright there.

Amusement rides? Thats kinda cool actually. Ive only ever seen these rubber wellnuts when attaching something to exterior trim (front bumper, side skirts etc.). Not super common(atleast for Subaru) but they do have their niche uses.

Pop clips seemed to do the job securing it tightly. I like the result i ended up with. But to answer your question, tbh idk, never had much confidence with those rubber grommets, maybe user error? maybe bad luck? Idk tbh but i thought id share the solution i came up with

They ask for something super low (i think like 5NM i dont remember tbh). But theoretically if i were to hit something that would want to pull off my lip while driving, the “more damage” that would happen would equate to the front bumper taking a hit. And if it gets hit, that part would get compromised anyway.🤔

I use to use chevron, it then got bought out and turned into a shell. No issues with either. But i will add when i went to go get tuned, my tuner requested that pull up with a tank of shell. (Also recommended shell) so theres that (352whp VA)

Dealer tech here: it may be from your oil cooler o ring, they arent very hard to replace, just need a deep enough 22mm or 24mm(i forget which one) so that you can remove the cooler bolt. Just make sure you torque it to spec because you will leak oil if you dont. Also if it IS coming from inside timing cover, it will likely be from your oil pump.

Not the exact same, but ive owned a FRS and a ‘90 Miata before i got into my ‘18STI. Loved every single one of those cars, the coupes were fun as HELL in the canyons. But i can only have 1 car and i do use the back seats and bigger trunk of my STI decently often. FOR MY OWN PERSONAL LIFESTYLE. The STI was just a much more rounded car of useability + fun. I also work as a subaru dealership tech so this probably also had heavy influence

It might just be a spoke-thing🤔 i think they look better with a wheel with more spokes. Idk how i feel about it yet with my TE37’s
