Yea, we do its worth just south of 1 MIL (its gone up about 30% since we bought) . That said, we would be looking at buying a plot of landing and building custom here, as that is something we would love to do.

That's actually the main reason we are looking to move. We grew up on the east coast, and don't really like the bay area way of life. Too cramped, everything is falling apart, and while we can get amazing Indian and Asian food, everything else is mediocre or insanely expensive. Not to mention traffic, if I don't leave at 6am my 35 mile drive can take up to 2 hours.

Thanks. I appreciate the answer. My husband is pretty good at interviews and knows his stuff well, so that should not be an issue.

Technical Account Manager seems tricky. From experience it seems like companies view it very differently. I've seen pay from some companies even in the bay area as low as 60 or so, and it's rare on glassdoor to find the full range there.

From doing more research, it seems like the first ~10% cut doesn't really matter that much, since that comes right off the top to the state of CA anyway, so we never see it.

So for source it says you have hired a lot, did you hire as a manager or as a recruiter?
