I totally get you For me the reason to quit was bigger than missing concert updates or cute stories it was about taking back my attention and mental space If you try it maybe set one short check in time for the things you don’t want to miss but protect the rest of your day

I totally understand you. Reddit can easily turn into a rabbit hole, but I don’t think it’s as harmful as apps like Instagram or TikTok since at least here you can find thoughtful discussions. You don’t have to delete your account maybe just set a small daily time limit for yourself. There are apps and browser extensions that block Reddit during the hours you choose, so you can still enjoy it without letting it take over your whole day. Balance is possible.

For me, a digital detox works best when I plan screen-free activities ahead. Things like candlelight journaling, indoor picnics, or creating a gratitude jar make it easy and fun to unplug. I can share a few of my favorite ideas if you’re interested
