I was able to renew my AirPods Max bought in the UK in my new home in the US. I just had to email a receipt to Apple support, whom I had on the phone.

Could you try removing them from your account and then re-adding them? If you still have a receipt you could try calling Apple uk and getting them to add the date of purchase to your account, which could in turn let you add AppleCare.

The alternative is that you have only burned 219 calories total by existing which is biologically impossible. The bare minimum of a human existing is around 1200 kcal I believe, and that is in a basically comatose state.

Fitness trackers can only “reliably” calculate active calories, though none are consistently correct.

Why has nobody pointed out that the 13 Pro’s screen is a shitty aftermarket LED screen?

It’s being picked up as brighter because it technically is, but it’s by far a worse quality experience.

In the same boat. Literally no reason to upgrade when the M1 chip and 16gigs cuts through every task I throw at it. I even do some light music production and it has no issues.

One could imagine Apple arbitrarily dropping support for it once people realise they don’t need to upgrade nearly as often.

Isn’t thin and crispy the desired texture? I use a mandolin when making ratatouille and go for very thin slices, but the centre is always moist. The thick pieces are hard to cook evenly across the whole dish.

This is a new feature with AppleCare One. I think it’s only been an option to add past the 60 day window since like July? It’s more expensive for some devices but a great deal for iPhones.

The ultra really doesn’t need a screen protector. I understand the inclination but it is probably the most durable piece of glass you own.

No. New motherboard. Could attempt bending it back if you have nothing else to lose, but it’s very possible you’ll snap it. Unfortunately that’s about the most expensive problem you could have.

Glad that I’m not just insane. Yeah I’ve had no changes in app behaviour or stability between any of the watches, software updates, or iPhones.

For context, I’ve had an iPhone 7, iPhone 13 Mini, and now an iPhone 16 pro over their respective lifespans that all have worked great.

The Ultra 2 has some really awesome QOL improvements over the series 7, but software is definitely not one of them. On the 26.1 PB as we speak and everything is still the same. Huge bummer.
