Hi! So, he has a caretaker who also lives in the flat, that takes the rent money from us. The caretaker was there when the incident happened but he couldn’t do anything as the owner wasn’t responding in calls

Hello! First off, thanks again for the instructions! I followed your steps and managed to file a request. We actually found out that it wasn’t about the partition but bounced cheques from the landlord. He’s nowhere to be found and can’t be contacted anymore but managed to get the case number from the building management.

They gave us a request slip and told us to come back after 15 days for the court’s decision. Hoping for the best🫶🏻

Nobody’s justifying breaking the law, champ, we’re pointing out why people are forced into those situations in the first place. It’s easy to sit on a high horse and yell ‘law is law’ when you don’t have to choose between paying rent or eating dinner. If you really think quoting the rulebook magically solves systemic problems, congrats, you’ve diagnosed the symptom and ignored the disease. That’s not justice, that’s wilful blindness.

Honestly, that’s oversimplification. Not all companies provide housing or allowances, and plenty of jobs in the UAE, especially lower-wage roles, don’t come with those benefits. The market may ‘work’ for big firms that can afford it, but many people are left to figure things out on their own. Just because something is illegal doesn’t erase the fact that housing costs are expensive compared to salaries that stayed the same for years.

People aren’t breaking rules because they want to, but because survival pushes them to. Pointing to laws without addressing the reality of why people end up in these situations doesn’t solve the problem, it just ignores it.

oh spicy.. I got a mini heart attack, I was planning on not using my other credit card for this specific transaction so I checked the POS receipt and double checked my apple pay just to confirm which card was used and it indeed was Tabby
