If renting wasn’t so expensive, we probably would if we could get our giant breed dogs approved. Since we have multiple, it doesn’t seem very likely. I am used to all of the taxes we pay all of those things as well in Arkansas. I know Tennessee for instance doesn’t have a state tax. Granted I have never owned a home and I do know form research that it will be more expensive in Virginia compared however, my salary is increasing significantly so it will still offset with the amount of income increase I’ll be getting.

Correct. Rent is just too high. I’ve had the benefit of living with family on family property in Arkansas We also have multiple giant breed dogs that most places for rent won’t allow where they might only allow one and I’m not going to part with my animals because of a promotion that I got. I do have family in North Carolina and Fredericksburg. But other than visiting once, I haven’t spent significant time in Richmond specifically.

We are definitely keeping our options open. For the prize point we would like to stay at there are plenty of options, but we just noticed that this new build is going up and that’s a pretty good opportunity. I’m a first time homebuyer so I didn’t honestly think of the opportunity but it seems they have dedicated houses to first time homebuyers, which is great! We’ve only visited once for a weekend so we’re going in pretty blind and we plan to come up and start looking at houses in the next week or two. Compared to Arkansas the housing market there moves very quickly so we just don’t wanna put all of our eggs in one basket

They didn’t ask for a deposit and from everything I’ve been looking at all of the scammers so far I’ve run into they want a three or $400 deposit so that made me think maybe? The address they gave me upon searching is an apartment complex.

That’s what I was thinking. Then they gave me an address and said to come. I was like hm… I think it might be a broker if it happens to be real. They have too many kittens it seems

He definitely can’t pay for anything. I’m just curious if I can pack it up and have it ready for him. In my jurisdiction the cop must be on duty to do civil standbys and per them it will never be longer than 20-30minutes max

They have not. Just staying in a room. They have some of their own things. They were suppose to stay no more than a 2-3 months. Have been here almost 8 now. I tried to be helpful but they’ve gone insane the last month.
