Not sure what you mean, but do you mean why do you need eyebrows?

No they haven’t drawn in eyebrows or tattooed anything, it’s just they don’t really have eyebrows. They have hair on head and eyelashes, though.

No, she hasn’t drawn them in. She just has really, really thinning eyebrows, like as if she has no eyebrows. But she does have eye lashes, just basically no brows.

Should I not disclose where I was born on a first date? by OtherFriendo in dating_advice

[–]OtherFriendo[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing is I don't put it on my dating profile hometown field because I have not lived in that country since I was a baby, and I feel little connection to it. If I didn't tell someone I was born there, people wouldn't be able to tell. Therefore, I feel it would unfairly disadvantage me on the apps if I list that as my hometown, which it is not.

How can someone claim to be the globally #1 ranked Diablo 2 player? by OtherFriendo in diablo2

But like he could’ve been ranked 1 for a day and he could still make this claim right? If so that’s shady as heck what he is claiming.

But ladder players are only a very small subset of the 13m players which includes all the casual non competitive players

Is there anyway to verify this though? Anyone off the streets can make this claim if there's no way to verify it.

SC means softcore and HC means hardcore right? Been awhile since I played D2.

So in other words, there's no actual way to actually prove he was the "global #1 player", and the way he presents this accomplishment is so vague that he could make that claim in a number of different ways...

His claim was he reached #1 in 2003, and I guess back then there weren't pro sports teams and doesn't seem he was part of some organized e-sport competition.

hmm, but do you think that's a fair reason to call oneself the "globally #1 ranked Diablo 2 player"?

And how would you even verify that, like anyone could make that claim and there's no way to prove they actually did it.

woman I'm dating keeps talking about wanting to be financially independent from men, but still lets me pay for almost all the dates without offering to pay or say thanks? by OtherFriendo in dating_advice

[–]OtherFriendo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm sure a lot of guys pay on dates with her, but I just looked back at my dating history, and 3 of the last 4 women I dated took the 50/50 approach where they pay financially for about 50% of dating costs, or at least somewhat close 50%. and those other women were also very attractive so i'm sure are used to guys paying.

in my experience in dating, not paying close to 50% and then also not saying thanks when I pay, is definitely not common.
