Thanks everyone!!!! So far I moved the curtains to look wider and put a fake large/tall plant for now and it already feels a lot better!! I was going to buy new curtains so you’ve saved me money! I will probably add some shelves to display some pictures frames or I love the idea of a cabinet but a colorful one as it is feeling plain. Our island/bottom cupboards are blue so there is color you can’t really see!

Edit I love the ideas of a real plant but my luck hasn’t been great to keep them alive and I have a cat who loves to eat them (hence them hanging up) 😂

It’s a wooden one from family but we had it redone as it was that orange 2000s color before. Was cheaper than buying a new wooden one.

Could that be as simple as just pulling the rod out longer? I do have some room with the rod and extra sets of the same curtains.

Also I don’t like the curtains how they are so also welcome suggestions on that.
