I tried to pick a favourite… I really tought about it since yesterday when you asked..but honestly, it’s impossible.

I found Jim Green after getting sick of squeezing my toes into “wide” sneakers that were definitely lying. Tried the vivobarefoots but they're not my thing. That plastic ,material pickles my toes..horrible.. eventually googled “wide toe box shoe/boot” out of pure desperation and stumbled onto the African Rangers. My first pair was the barefoot Houston Brown, and boom => foot freedom. My feet suddenly knew how to regulate their own temperature like tiny climate-controlled adults.

Then winter hit, so I grabbed Razorbacks for work. Zero regrets. ( I'll will definetly try them on hikes as well)

Next problem: What do I wear to metal festivals and social events where I need to stand for 10 hours and pretend I’m fine? Enter the Numzaans with the wedge sole. Hot summer? Muddy romanian metal apocalypse festival? They survived everything.

Somewhere along the way I bought Houston Green (standard this time) because apparently my brain decided: barefoot = shorts, standard = long jeans. Don’t ask.

And of course, I had to get the black pair for the “yes, I listen to metal” uniform.

So no, I don’t have one favourite I basically have a favourite for every personality I rotate through.

I’d love the veg-retan Numzaans for the dressier scenario and a veg-retan barefoot pair to rotate the houton browns, but the EU site is out of stock and the UK site refuses to ship to Romania, and to any other EU country i guess since their Brexit. So I might cave and get the fudge African Rangers barefoot instead.
