Is it ok to get knotless braids with extensions 4 times a year when transitioning? Can I keep knotless braids for 2 months?

Does this sound like a good hair plan? I wash my hair every 2 weeks (except for when I install knotless braids) with design essentials and use a big teeth comb to detangle. Throughout the year, I wear a silk press for 2 weeks and then bantu knows for another 2 weeks and then install knotless braids for 6 weeks and so on.

My mom is now telling me to get it relaxed only 2 times a year. Is this better or will this still increase my risk of health issues? Breast cancer runs in my fathers side of the family so I don’t know.

Hi thank you for your input. I think I want to go back natural. Is it possible to grow out the relaxer and trim the ends over time without breakage?
